Defining the Problem
…a decision where I wisely (impulsively) bought a high quality, non-working, vintage road bike In anticipation of a 100 mile, Texas midsummer, road race. It was missing a few parts, mostly consumables (tires, tubes, bar ends). How do I keep this re-build ECONOMIC ; to restore this bike QUICK (before the race) while ensuring PRESERVATION of existing hardware; in a manner which could be conducive to HEALTH , EDUCATION , and PERSONALIZATION ?

Research Problem: Ask WHY?
Why is this a problem? I took apart my old bike for similar goals: restoration and customization. However I Learned of this race around the same time and no current bike. So, unable to train and commute easily around town I was faced with some pretty glaring problems reflected in society.
Lack of access to QUICK and reliable public transportation forces people to drive more, increases traffic, and increases the over all ECONOMIC burdens people face day to day. Driving is a stress inducer and needing to spending money on gas to get everywhere is bad for my HEALTH ………
